Serious Road Traffic Incident, Ovendon Road, Halifax

Enquiries are ongoing this evening following a serious collision in Halifax. 

Police attended at the A29 Ovendon Road near to the Dean Clough Industrial Park at just after 4pm today ( August 29) after a motorcycle rider came off his bike while travelling on the road. 

The male rider suffered very serious injuries. 

A road closure is in place at the location while investigation and recovery work continues.

Drivers are thanked for their patience and advised to avoid the area.
