Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage After Fatal Collision in Halifax

Police investigating a collision in Halifax yesterday afternoon (Thursday, 29 August) can now confirm that the motorcyclist involved has died.

Officers were called to the A629 Ovenden Road near to Shroggs Road shortly after 4pm to reports of a single vehicle collision involving a white Hanway motorcycle.

The rider, an 18-year-old male, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

His family have been informed and are being offered support from specially trained officers.
