Man's Efforts to Avoid Driving Penalty Results in Jail Sentence

A man from Shipley has been jailed for 16 months after he pleaded guilty to perverting the course of justice.  

Mikael Khan was sentenced at Bradford Crown Court yesterday (Tuesday).  

Khan, 37, of Brookside Avenue, was caught on dash cam driving a BMW car carelessly in Leeds in June last year and the footage was sent to West Yorkshire Police’s Op Snap portal for further investigation.
