Man Charged Over Attempted Robbery At Leeds Post Office

A man is due to appear in court today charged over an attempted cash in transit robbery at a post office in Leeds.
Anthony Bryant, aged 54, of Leopold Street, Chapeltown, has been charged with attempted robbery and possession of an axe in a public place in relation to an incident at Elford Grove Post Office, in Harehills Road, Leeds, on Monday, October 21.
He has also been charged with resisting a police constable in the execution of his duty at Leeds General Infirmary later that day.
