Wakefield Officer Charged with Conspiracy to Pervert the Course of Justice

A West Yorkshire Police officer has been charged with conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.

PC Aisha Iqbal, aged 27, who is based in Wakefield District, is due to appear at Bradford Magistrates Court on Friday, 15 November.  

The charge relates to the furnishing of driver information in relation to two speeding offences.  

She is co-defendant with member of the public Zaffar Iqbal, aged 62, who is also charged with conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.
