Appeal for Witnesses: Serious Injury Collision, Leeds

Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was seriously injured in a collision near Allerton Bywater.

Roads Policing Officers would like to speak to anyone who has information or footage regarding the incident which took place at about 4.45pm on Barnsdale Road close to Lock Lane between Allerton Bywater and Castleford yesterday (Monday).

The male rider, a man in his 60s, suffered serious injuries following the collision with the van, which did not stop at the scene
