Appeal for Sightings of Male Near River in Knottingley

Police are appealing for information following a concern for safety call about a male seen near the River Aire in Knottingley last night (Thursday, 21 November).

A call was received at 7:41pm yesterday to a report that a male had been seen on the wrong side of the bridge over the River Aire a short time earlier. The person who had seen the male reported hearing sounds which suggested he had entered the water, but did not witness this.
