Appeal: Fatal Collision, Leeds

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Leeds.  

It occurred at approximately 3pm yesterday (Monday) when a motorcycle was in collision with a pedestrian in Great George Street.  

The pedestrian, a 65-year-old man, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital, where he sadly died a short time later.

The rider, a 26-year-old man, was also taken to hospital with facial injuries.  

He was later arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
