Appeal after Suspected Firearms Discharge, Halifax

Detectives are appealing for information following a suspected firearms discharge in Halifax earlier this morning.

Officers were called to Gibraltar Road in the town at 5:56am this morning following reports of a shot being fired towards a property on the street.  

A vehicle was also reported to have been set alight, which was dealt with by fire service colleagues.

A scene is currently in place in the area as detectives from the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team establish the circumstances of what took place.
