Appeal: Serious Injury Collision, Calderdale

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious injury collision in Calderdale.  

It happened at about 4.15pm yesterday (Thursday) on Leeds Road, at its junction with Amisfield Road in Hipperholme and involved a black Audi A1 car and a pedestrian.  

The pedestrian, a man in his seventies, was taken to hospital where he was found to have suffered serious injuries. These were not thought to be life-threatening.  

The driver of the Audi was spoken to by officers.
