Security Staff at Broadway Shopping Centre in Bradford given Extra Powers

Security staff at the Broadway Shopping Centre in Bradford have been given extra powers through the Community Safety Accreditation Scheme (CSAS.)  
Through working in partnership with the Police the scheme provides an additional uniformed presence in communities to help reduce criminality and anti-social behaviour.  
The Chief Constable of West Yorkshire Police and the Deputy Mayor for Policing approved the licences and security guards at the Broadway have been trained.
