Appeal: Fatal Road Traffic Collision, Keighley Town Centre

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision in Keighley town centre yesterday (Thursday 30 January).

Officers were called to A629 North Street where it was reported a female pedestrian was in collision with a blue Nissan Qashqai at 10.39am.  

The car had been travelling away from Cavendish Street towards the town centre.  

The woman, aged in her 70s, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital where she sadly died.
