Appeal for Witnesses: Assault on Police Officer, Hall Avenue, Bradford

Police are appealing for witnesses after a police officer was assaulted on Hall Avenue, Bradford

Steerside officers have come across a Mercedes Sprinter which failed to stop for officers at around 10.45pm on 8 February.

The driver and the passenger of the vehicle then abandoned the vehicle on Hall Avenue, an officer has run after them, catching one of them, who then assaults the police officer.

The police officer suffered minor injuries.

Two members of the public a man and woman have helped the police officer.
