Appeal: Serious Assault, Holmfirth

Police are appealing for information after a man was seriously assaulted  and left needing surgery following an incident in Holmfirth.

Officers at Kirklees Reactive CID are continuing to conduct a number of enquiries into the serious assault outside on Hallowgate outside the Elephant and Castle pub on Saturday 11 May, 2024.

The assault took place between 10pm and 12am after a man in his 50s was approached and punched by a male suspect.
