Update: Victim of Huddersfield Murder Named

A Kirkburton man has now been remanded in custody to appear before Leeds Crown Court charged with murder.  

Alfie Franco, aged 20, of The Park, Kirkburton appeared before Leeds Magistrates Court today (5 April) charged with the murder of a male who police can now name as Ahmad Mamdouh Al Ibrahim, aged 16, who was living in Huddersfield.  

Ahmad had only very recently moved to Huddersfield from the South Wales area.
