Vehicle Crime Week of Action

West Yorkshire Police took part in a week of action targeting vehicle crime across the county.  

The operation followed the Vehicle Intensification Week in 2024, it was funded by the National Vehicle Crime Reduction Partnership (NVCRP).

More than 40 officers across the area deployed on vehicle crime duties which included visible reassurance patrols, crime prevention initiatives, as well as making several arrests for vehicle crime and seizing a number of vehicles including quad and electric bikes.
