(SES) in association with the European LeukemiaNet (ELN), the AML Hub provides the latest clinical updates from the acute myeloid leukemia (AML) community. The AML Hub prides itself on being a reputable, unbiased source of the recent advances in AML for healthcare professionals, worldwide.

2020 was undoubtedly a challenging year for congresses, and it was astonishing to observe how the world adapted to these unprecedented conditions. In the last quarter alone, the AML Hub virtually attended the 2nd National Cancer Research Institute (NCRI) AML Academy meeting, the 62nd American Society of Hematology (ASH) Annual Meeting and Exposition, and the 3rd Annual Meeting of the International Academy for Clinical Hematology (IACH), for which it was proud to be a media partner. The AML Hub provided comprehensive live social media coverage of key sessions from the three congresses and conducted interviews with experts in the field of AML.

Input from the AML Hub Steering Committee (SC) allows us to gage the latest content demands and to deliver material of the highest value. On December 2, 2020, the AML Hub held a virtual SC meeting, which highlighted the achievements of the AML Hub as well as the unmet clinical needs in the AML setting and how to address them. The success of the virtual format of the meeting further emphasizes the versatility and resilience of the AML Hub and its affiliates.

The last quarter saw Gert Ossenkoppele retire as AML Hub chair, but we are pleased to announce that Gert will remain a part of the AML Hub team as a SC member. In early 2021, we look forward to welcoming Gail Roboz as the AML Hub chair and Charles Craddock as co-chair.

The AML Hub is grateful to its sponsors—Roche Genentech
(Gold), AbbVie (Silver), Amgen (Silver), Novartis
(Silver), Bristol Myers Squibb (Bronze), Jazz Pharmaceuticals (Bronze), Janssen Pharmaceuticals (Bronze), Agios (Contributor), Gamida Cell (contributor), Helsinn (Contributor)—without whom the work would not be possible. In quarter four, the AML Hub was delighted to welcome Takeda (contributor) as a supporter and would like to extend a special thanks for their support going forward.
