Cashing out… deadline’s up for Spend Local cards with one last trolley dash

“Use it or lose it,” Economy Minister Gordon Lyons told all those who still had money on their Spend Local cards as the deadline approached at midnight on Sunday. They’ve been used to the tune of £131m. Those who didn’t use it, lost it.
