Inflation may drop to 2% in months - as Bank of England holds interest rate for fourth time in a row

One of the members of the Bank of England's rate-setting Monetary Policy Committee has voted for a cut in interest rates for the first time since the pandemic, as Britain's central bank forecast that inflation could be down at its 2% target within a few months.
