DWP accused of creating 'digital stop and search' as confirms AI use to 'spy' on accounts of benefits claimants

In an update the government has confirmed the controversial scheme to allow the Department for Work and Pensions to look into bank accounts of those claiming benefits will use artificial intelligence.
