Burning human remains in Motherwell LIVE: Police probe death as residents left in shock

A police probe has been launched after burned human remains were found on a football pitch in Motherwell.Charred remains of the unidentified person were discovered by a member of the public with the alarm being raised around 9am on Saturday morning.Police are probing the grim discovery and the death is currently being treated as unexplained.
