Council row erupts over claims of 'pressure' to withdraw steelworks electric arc furnace application call-in

Labour claims of 'direct pressure' by a senior elected member to withdraw the calling in to a meeting of the steelworks electric arc furnace plans have been branded as the party 'playing politics with steel workers' jobs' by the council leader.
