Pay-per-mile road tax IS on Labour agenda and some drivers face £600 bill

The new Labour Party government and the Treasury are "eager" to introduce pay-per-mile measures, according to Adam Smith, former chief of staff under then-Chancellor of the Exchequer Jeremy Hunt between 2022 and 2024.
