Meghan Gallacher resigns as Scottish Tory deputy leader amid Douglas Ross conduct concerns

The leadership candidate said she resigned at 1.55pm on Friday, citing concerns her role would present a "conflict of interest" as she seeks to replace Mr Ross as the head of the party in Scotland.
