Restoration of historic Christie Clock destroyed in botched repair job a 'commitment to the people of Stirling'

Stirling Council's deputy leader, Councillor Gerry McGarvey said that repairing the historic Christie Clock - destroyed in a bungled repair job in September 2023 - is "about honouring our commitment to the people of Stirling" after councillors voted to allocate £873,000 towards its repair.
