My Christmas has changed over the years

As a child Christmas afternoon in our house was the one day in the year we weren’t allowed to make any noise. My dad was a vicar and had midnight mass on Christmas Eve going on until 1am. Friends of my parents would then come around for sherry and mince pies before we opened our presents. We would be off to bed gone 3am but my dad had five or six services on Christmas morning, the first at 6am.
