DWP issues major update on 2025 plans to check bank accounts for benefits claimants

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has issued an update on the date of their new Fraud, Error and Debt Bill which will see bank accounts checked - although has moved to address claims that they will "not give DWP access to any bank accounts".
