All South Lanarkshire schools and nurseries to close on Friday as 90mph winds forecast for Storm Eowyn

South Lanarkshire Council has take the decision to close all schools and nurseries on Friday after the Met Office has issued a rare red weather warning for “very strong winds” that could present a “danger to life”.
