Let's hope that asteroid misses

Don’t you just hate it when people tell you to cheer up?  There you are, walking along the street, minding the potholes, perfectly happy looking miserable, when some random stranger tells you to smile.  It’s happened to me.  I’m sure Rachel Reeves is getting fed up with it.  Still, she is justified in her misery.  She’s probably even started to enjoy it – aping a kind of Gordon Brown dour Scottish I’m serious sort of gloom.  As the song goes “there’s gotta be a little rain sometime.”  That’s politics.  But now we learn even God’s had enough.
