Eight major banks bring in new mortgage rules for millions of customers

Santander, Barclays, TSB and Coventry Building Society are all cutting rates in the wake of the Bank of England rate cut, as well as Halifax, HSBC, Clydesdale Bank and Yorkshire Building Society.
