Cornwall MP slams 'deeply questionable' Newquay airport appointment

The boss of the Cornwall Council-owned airport company which has hired the man who was at the time the council's cabinet member for the economy - and didn't even make the shortlist initially - has said the process was fair, impartial and there was no conflict of interest.
