St George's Day, a haircut, and possibly banned from the pub

Have I been banned from the Ladies Mile pub? There I was last Wednesday standing at the bar – gloriously festooned with flags – when I happened to say to the landlady, isn’t St George’s Day on Monday 28th this year? According to the CofE.
