'Gracious and smart' Melania skips first night of Republican convention

​Former first lady Melania Trump did not turn up at the first night of the Republican National Convention Monday while Trump made a triumphant entry some 48 hours after the assassination bid. Model and influencer Amber Rose, however, mentioned Melania on the stage as she recounted a meeting with Melania and Donald Trump. “The first lady was gracious and smart, with a smile that will brighten up any room," Amber Rose said.
