A buffalo attacked and viciously gored a woman holding a child in front of her house in southern China.
The terrifying moment, caught on camera in the city of Heyuan in Guangdong Province on April 19, shows a woman standing with a child in her arms at a doorway until a buffalo suddenly charged in and attacked her.
Two men came out of the house immediately to rescue the woman and the child.
After the police arrived on site, they shot the buffalo dead.
According to reports, the buffalo ran out of a nearby slaughterhouse.
The woman suffered injuries to her left leg and was being treated in hospital, while the child was not injured.
