They'd love your feedback.

From protests to police reform to racial injustice to celebrating african- american freedom, what steps can we continue to take to heal and unify.

Joining us now is dr. larry davidson, jr. is the pastor of the hopewell missionary baptist church and vice- president of the greater huntsville interdenominati onal ministerial fellowship.

Dr davidson - good morning.

Pause let's start positive.

Here we are on this juneteenth - a celebration of african- american freedom.

Certainly strides have been made over the years to improve the lives of minorities correct?

The recent protests against racial injustice.

Last night, police chief mcmurray laid out an after-action report that explained the use of force at the back-end of the protest - when he said group of outsiders taunted and stirred up trouble.

The council will take it up next thursday.

What do you think should happen as the next step to resolve this?

This pandemic has given us all a chance to stay home - reflect .

When we see the symbolic calls made to remove confederate monuments ... the real work needs to happen .

What are some solid solutions here to bring about change - and bring unity among all of us as americans?

Seems like a complete mindset needs to change to unify as a country.

What will you tell your congregation to move forward and do to bring us all together again?

All of this strife ... while a pandemic is underway amplifying the stress ... could you share some words of calm ... encouragement ... as we try to heal ?

Pastor and dr. larry davidson, vice-president of the greater huntsville interdenominational ministerial fellowship.
