2 restaurants are now on Oneida County's list for possible exposures of COVID-19.

Its one of the first times its happened since restaurants were forced to shut down in March.

Seen an increase in potential exposures.

The county is only a week into phase 3.

News channel 2's brent kearney spoke to residents about whether they think this is a concern or not.

Its been one week since oneida county entered into phase 3 of reopening.

As the number of cases continues to rise, so does the positive exposures.

"i think of everybody uses common sense and he was to the guidelines and maintain distancing i think everything will be ok.

Since phase 3 began, oneida county reported 18 positive exposures, 16 of those are department and grocery stores.

One resident reporting people not wearing masks while shopping.

None wood- "i was in kohls this morning and i can't say how many but i can say several people that did not have masks on.

I talked to the manager and he said well we can't make them wear a mask.

Now two restarunts are added to the mix.

Ocean blue and mayflower chinese restarunts both in utica.

Most residents that i spoke to said they're not concerned by the recent restarunt exposures feisthamel- " was at the boulevard diner last night and everyone was wearing their masks going in and out and i had a pleasant experience the waitresses were all wearing their masks."

Oneida county executive sending out a statement on friday saying as we head into another father's day weekend, i would ask that while everyone enjoys their family and fathers, they use caution.

Adhere to the precautions we all know to stop the spread of coronavirus and save lives kephart "i think everyone is taking all the precautions that they can and staying on top of that because they know the liability if they don't follow those precautions.

And at this point i think we all just need to move forward to get past this."
