The local arts community is getting a boost.

The City of Las Vegas got a $50,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.

That money is part of the Cares Act.

It will be used to get artists to teach classes, provide services to galleries and public art products, and support the Rainbow Community Theatre.'
