Sangertown Square officially reopened Friday after shutting down in March due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Many have been waiting for.

Sangertown square mall in new hartford opened its doors after nearly four months of being shut down.

The mall had to undergo some significant changes in order to meet the state requirements to open.

In order to allow shoppers back in, the mall had to go through some significant changes.

The food court is now take out only, and markers on the floor guide you on where to walk.

Their are changes shoppers wont see, the mall had to upgrade its air filtration system to meet state guidelines.

But after 4 months of being closed, some stores worry their customers forgot about them.

"i do worry about that.

I wonder after four months.

I just want to make sure that no one has forgotten about us.shopping online sounds great but again this is the lifeblood of our community."
