Cape Town's seafront turns white as seafoam covers roads

Sea foam has covered Cape Town's waterfront after strong winds and huge waves whipped up the seas on July 13.

The South African Weather Service has warned citizens to take 'extra precautions' over the next few days, as it forecast high seas, winds up to 62 mph, heavy rains leading to flooding and a storm surge.

Some Capetonians used the opportunity to frolic in the foam despite the strong winds and icy temperatures.
