And november.

Parents across north alabama are facing some really tough challenges ahead of the fall reopening of schools.

While they are considering options like in-school or virtual learning, some are also looking at the idea of homeschooling their children.

Joining us now live via zoom is dan beasley - the attorney for the homeschool legal defense association.

Dan - good morning we are living in a very unique time where more parents, especially those who stay at home teleworking, may be able to homeschool where would they even start?

What do you tell a parent who would like to home school their children, but they don't feel like they are equipped to help their kids with the coursework?

Are there tutors or additional resources that can help?

And then the costs of homeschooling?

Paying tor the materials and such.

Talk us through that end of it.

What about the argument that if children stay at home, they miss out in socializing at a regular wchool with other children?

You have a seminar coming up to help parents.

Quickly hit the high points for us.

We will post a link for that upcoming seminar and other resources on our website after the show.

In the meantime - dan beasley with homeschool legal defense association.

Thanks fir joining us.
