Cameron, the badger fire is now 450 acres, but the last update on size and containment came at 6:15 this morning from cal fire siskiyou.

Evacuation orders were issued last night at 10:15 for hawkinsville humbug road and roads stemming from it as well as the area west of highway 236 south.

In addition, an evacuation warning was made today for people living south of hawkinsville humbug road to and including loafer hill road.

The american red cross has set up an evacuation shelter at the jackson street elementary school.

Today around 3 pm, the first family arrived.

The man eric nielsen said he's had to evacuate before back in 2017 during the king fire.
