school shopping will be different

Going to look a little different this year.

A lot of parents say they haven't...but usually would have by now.

The parent teacher store in lexington says it's preparing for all possibilities...just like teachernts are.

Chris and meg larue took over ownership right before the pandemic reached kentucky.

Chriss larue: we have teachers coming from districts with their purchase orders.

We have them spending their own money, we have homeschoolers.

And we have parents just coming to enhance their educations.

Meg larue: we have been looking at as a teacher what the teachers need if we're allowed to be in the classroom.

Abc 36 is partnering with the store to celebrate teachers.
