- law enforcement belives he was- under the - influence of narcotics or had - mental health issues.

- law enforcement talked to him - for a few hours to- try to diffuse the situation.

- the moss point fire - department,police department, - pascagoula police, and- negotiators from the fbi- worked together to diffuse the- situation.

Private- citizens also assisted in - helping by talking to the - man to calm him down- - "i got here about six oclock- this- morning talked with him a littl- bit and was fin;lly able to - with the help of the fire - department climb the ladder and- i - was able to let him talk him- into letting me get in the room- with- him talked his down.

And we abl- to get him into the hospital- - - - with no injuries and nothing- else.

- as of now no charges have been- made.

However there - are major damages to the hotel- room, and that will be up to- management of the hotel.- -
