Troopers have been stationed at work zones across the state to help crack down on reckless driving through construction areas.

Operation hard hat....is designed to catch drivers violating traffic laws in construction areas.
If you don't slow down.... the state troopers dressed as construction workers will get you.
We were invited to this site on i-88 in worcester to see the troopers in action.

They're actual work zones where the dot are working and we're just out there to watch over their shoulder.
We know how dangerous it is to be on the side of the road and we want to be able to partner up with them stay safe and go home to their families 22:46:43 17 tickets were issued in this workzone.
12 were for speeding.
