A big topic brought up in the West Canada Valley Central School District's special meeting Thursday evening was school bus transportation.
Tonight regarding their re- opening plans.
They discussed the health and safety of students and faculty, and one of the big focuses was how to get the kids to school safely.
The state guidelines require students to be six feet apart on buses and that of course limits capacity.
However some students will be dropped off by parents so that may help.
But all students who ride the buses and the bus drivers will be required to wear masks.
"it could be everybody on that bus is in portion of getting traced, it could be a classroom issue where they'll trace it back to the bus that they rode in on, so the buses and the protocols in that are in place, there's clear guidance on that."
All plans are due to the state by tomorrow...govern or cuomo will make his decision on whether or not schools can reopen sometime next week.
