Third Street Mural Brings Purdue's Campus To Life

Look a little different when students return to campus for the fall semester..

The road from the martin jischke intersection east to university street features a bike lane..

And three new street murals..

The new murals are done with the history of the university in mind... a traditional purdue p is featured along with the bell tower and other purdue related fanfare..

The street's new design provides a practical means of transportation for students..

And an upgrade visually in the heart of campus..

Zach -- i would think it would be really nice because if you are coming to visit, like you're going to be a freshman, you're thinking about applying, it would just be a really cool experience to just go down the street and see all these big murals.

At least i would think it would be one last thing that's like awe man that's just super cool, and maybe one of the small things that makes that final decision.

Filiberto -- around like west lafayette there's not that many bike lanes.

And i feel like having a bike lane helps traffic because when all the students come, when the 40- thousand students come it's going to be packed.

The history, i think that what's most nice about it, like the murals is like the history behind it.
