Annual family resource youth services center sponsored stuff the bus campaign --- kicking off this morning -- is aiming to do just that 44news reporter marisa patwa is in owensboro with more on these efforts.

Good morning tommy and lauren -- i am here at the walmart on frederica street here in owensboro -- where in less than an hour, a school bus is going to pull up here, ready to be filled with supplies.
And joining me now is jared revitt, public information officer with owensboro public schools.
Now jared -- has being hit hard financially during the pandemic having an effect on the number of parents needing help buying supplies for their children this year?
Youe mentioned that even though this school year is looking different, you are dedicated to making sure students have the supplies they need to be successful.
Has the pandemic had an effect on the kinds of school supplies kids need for the classroom?
And i know in 2019, there was over $1,300 in monetary donations and over $19,000 in school supply donations.
What are you looking for goal wise this year in terms of fundraising?
