Walmart and the salvation army- are teaming up for "stuff the - bus," a campaign providing new- school supplies to local- children in need.

- when shoppers are visiting- walmart on august 7-8, they - can purchase and drop off schoo- supplies into the - salvation army collection bins- at the front of each store.

- the goal is to fill the barrels- with school supplies for- kids.

Some of the most needed - supplies are: backpacks,- calculators, pens and pencils.- there is also a list of supplie- needed taped on each barrel.- the campaign is friday and- saturday and people can drop- off supplies as long as the - walmarts are open.- the salvation army will collect- the bins tomorrow night - and will hand out the school- supplies to families reaching - out for assistance.
