A huge revitalization project will begin in downtown winston in the next few weeks& after four long years of planning.
The?elephant wal?
Project will replace the run- down buildings sitting on the intersection of highway 42 and highway 99&with renovated buildings for new businesses.
Right now, there are two major businesses already slated to move in& a coffee shop and a restaurant.
Organizers are hopeful this project brings more customers to the area.

The project is expected to finish up by the end of the year.
Once it done, the property owners say they would like to expand the elephant walk further down main street.
