A live shelton shows usn southern oregon that has a feature found nowhere else in the entire state.

Josh shelton says, "there's 18 holes of golf to play here at harbor links golf course in klamath falls.

And you'll face plenty of challenges along the way.

Including plenty of water hazards.

And harbor links houses the only place in all of oregon where the water hazard almost completely surrounds the green."

(take jason key) jason dobey says, "we are still the only island green in the state of oregon.

As you can see behind me you can see water behind me, we have water on the sides, completely surrounded.

Only about 140 yards.

Today we had a front flag so it was playing about 135.

But usually you have a wind blowing in off the lake so it definitely makes it tough."

(topic key) so we stare down hole number 8 from the teeing ground.

Jason has home course advantage so he tees it up first.

All too familiar with this course, playing it growing up in klamath falls.

And you can't see it, but trust me.

Jason hits the flagstick on the fly.

A pin seeking missile that will be tough to follow no doubt.

So with that thought in my head, i try to ignore the moat surrounding the green and just aim for the middle of the green.

Because once you're there, it gets a bit easier.

Jason dobey says, "our greens are fairly flat.

We have a couple holes with some angulation but for the most part they're fairly flat.

When you come out here you're definitely going to want to play less break than what you see.

They're not going to move.

Very subtle.

So if you see it breaking right, play about half that break and it will probably still go that direction.

It's pretty straight forward, but just less break than what you see."

Apparently, i wasn't seeing much of anything.
